I love watching you make healthy food,,, I have IBS so when I make oatmeal it's oats and water in the microwave – sometimes I have eaten baby food cuz it's just without any junk in it, very plain. 🙂
Looks delicious, I may try out this company. I like jicama but have only purchased it already chopped up at Trader Joe's. I wonder if that would work in the air fryer? You make everything look so good when you're cooking.
I tend to watch your videos while I’m taking my makeup off & unwinding. I find you to be a calming presence!!! And like everyone else, I always enjoy videos with your Mom. Side note: my teenage daughter watches you too so thank you for making content we can both enjoy and chat about. 💜
You should buy a sieve – so easy to rinse beans thoroughly that way! Can't live without sieves, I have many sizes …. oh, and pre-soak your beans to get rid of the anti-nutrients that cause gas. Drain off soaking liquid and discard, rinse, then cook and keep the cooking liquid for soup as it is full of nutrients.
Hi! I'm not a vegan but I love black beans and everything leguminous. And I put cumin in my black beans too. It is a recipe for tostadas that I often make black beans, chicken, tomatoes, etc. Sometimes I take this mixture to make fajitas. When there is still some preparation left, I eat it cold and it is very good too. I like this kind of video because we can adapt the recipes. Thank you!
Thought I should share this. Forgot to yesterday add, 2 vlogs I take in on food. One is Clean and Delicious, where I have adopted her oatmeal and whites of egg breakfast, so good; and the other is Pick up Limes. I think your subs might like both if not known yet. Cheers!
i grew up eating jicama. Here in the Philippines we eat it as a snack dipped in fermented fish sauce (weird i know) but it tastes really good. Kinda like when you snack on carrots and hummus. We also use this to mix with our spring roll filling like an extender so as not to use too much ground pork. Makes the spring roll tasty and moist. 🙂
Andrea, Thank you so much for the appliance links and recipes! We have a strange diet. It is mostly lacto-ovo vegetarian. Sometimes it switches to pesco-lacto-ovo-vegetarian (no shellfish though). On special holidays we may have chicken, turkey, or beef that is humanely raised and hormone and antibiotic free. I must also eat gluten free. Have you ever made the Bulgarian red pepper soup from the Moosewood cookbook? It is wonderful and delicious! 💖🌼
Enjoyed seeing you prepare these recipes. The Corsori certainly saves time and is really a “one pot wonder”. I love truffle oil and would probably try it on the Jicama fries. My kitchen has two pull out wooden chopping boards built to look like a drawer, they’re so handy. Thanks for making this video it was delightful. Hugs … Sherry
Can you do a review on this emerging brand called “Public goods”? I’ve seen their commercials on YouTube and just wanted to get your input on their body washes, lotions, soaps, etc. I recently started to watch your channel!!! I love how you explain each product and their chemicals and whether or not it’s bad/good. 👍
It has rubber feet so it doesn’t slide around on my counter, is hollowed out so it’s much lighter than most and has no chemical coating so you can oil and use straight away. I really like the size as it’s a long rectangle so I have room to push things to the side.
Hi Dr. Dray…was wondering if you can make a video on your thoughts on the “Hanacure” mask. Not sure if you have mention it on any of your previous videos.
At the risk of sounding like a kiss up I watch/listen to you while I cook! I look forward to the end of the day to hear/watch your videos. I also love to watch Angie hot and flashy, Melissa 55, ms kristinn. Also, try a bamboo cutting board rather than wood. Bamboo is sustainable and doesn’t harbor bacteria. Thank you so much for all of your dermatology and eating tips!

I bought this cutting board a few months ago and it’s been fantastic. https://www.breville.com/us/en/parts-accessories/accessories/bov800cb.html
