We’re so happy to say that our new deli is open! Last weekend we had a soft launch to test everything out and then officially opened our doors on Wednesday, which was so exciting. It’s been a long, quite challenging journey to get to this point, but seeing lovely customers walk through the door over the last few days has made it so worth it and we couldn’t be more grateful for all your support for what we’re doing, it’s truly incredibly.
The good news is that not only have we opened the new deli, but we’ve also launched our new autumn menu too, which you’ll find at both Delis in the next few days. We aim to change a handful of dishes each month, to keep things interesting for you all. This month, we’ve introduced four new dishes to our salad bar: roasted pumpkin with chickpeas and chilli; winter cabbage with pomegranates; a tomato, aubergine and basil salad and our favourite pea, avocado and chickpea humus. There’s also a new carrot and chestnut soup, and a lovely spiced apple and cranberry compote, which is fantastic with a hot bowl of porridge. We’ll be bringing mince pies to the menu soon, as well as a festive orange MaE cake and a couple more Christmas dishes too, so keep an eye out for those! If you’re near Weighhouse St, then you’ll also find a new giant banana and peanut butter cup and a red berry cheesecake there, plus a new fugdy brownie in both of them.
