How We Research
Every guide on Easy Recipe Maker starts with one question: will this product fit the way you cook? For a grill, that means what you cook, how many people you serve, how much space you have and how you want to manage heat and fuel.
Here is how we answer it.
1. We start with the cooking setup
A large gas grill may be more than a small patio needs. A pellet smoker may not suit someone who wants fast, direct heat for weeknight meals.
We consider cooking area, footprint, fuel type, temperature range, portability and the space around the cooker. For accessories and prep gear, we look at how they fit the grill, food and storage space you already have.
2. We compare specs and features
We check the maker's listed details, such as burner count, cooking area, heat range, fuel capacity, temperature controls, probe type, materials and dimensions. For pizza ovens, griddles and tools, we consider the cooking surface, compatible accessories and care needs.
Makers describe their products in their own words, so we name the brand for every claim. We also note the warranty terms and any setup or cleaning requirements the maker lists.
3. We look at buyer feedback
We read what buyers report after using a product. We look for patterns, like uneven heat, hard-to-clean surfaces, faulty ignition, temperature swings, poor fit or parts that wear out early.
One angry review doesn't sink a product. A pattern does.
4. We score each product
Our score weighs specs, features and buyer feedback against what you're shopping for. A charcoal grill that suits slow cooking may score lower in a guide for quick weeknight grilling.
Scores spread out on purpose. A 10 is rare.
5. We keep pages up to date
Products change, and some disappear from stores. Makers sell close models under similar names, so we check each model name and what comes in the box, and we only link new units.
We skip unknown brands with no track record and any product with a known recall. When we update a guide, the "Updated on" date at the top changes with it.
What our picks are not
Our picks are research, not hands-on tests. We don't claim to have used every product we cover.
Follow the maker's instructions for setup, fuel, cleaning and safe use. Check local rules for outdoor cooking and keep grills away from buildings and anything that can burn.
