I realise this reply is late but it just came up on my list. I’ve been watching you guys for several months now. I’m definitely going to try this. Baked beans on toast was one of my favourite breakfasts growing up (Irish parents) but it was just the canned (Watties i think) but they have sugar so I’ve been avoiding them or eating the Weight Watchers ones I occasionally. Will make my own now :).

I wanted to turn the flame down on your cooktop! Once the pan is heated you can turn it down. Flames lapping side like that only necessary for wok cooking. You probably burnt the garlic. It burns easily. Great job otherwise. Thanks.

Flame on! Pan seared beans! LOL You did very well all alone. If I had an onion, I'd go make this right now, since it's 8:29am where I am. What kind of beans did you say?
