A lot of people put carrots in it, but I think it makes it too sweet.
Edit: also the eggs aren't required…. For your vegan friends….

If you don't tell a meat eater that vegetarian stuffing is vegetarian, they'll never know the difference.

This is almost identical to the recipe I have been using for 40 years, although my recipe doesn’t call for the eggs and I use Bell’s seasoning. This year is my first not stuffing the turkey, so I am glad I found this on how to bake it separately!

Well my family and quite a few other families that I know call it filling because you fill the turkey with it . What's the difference what you call it as long as it tastes good.

And aww ☹️poor chicken🐓 that got cooked for a thanksgiving meal. & I don’t have much vegetarian 🌱 friends. 👫 They eat meat. 🥩 🍖 Expect for my friend/sister. & I eat vegetarian food.

So, I've been saving the ends of the loafs of my whole wheat bread and been cutting it into cubes and storing them in an oatmeal container with a paper towel rubber-banded on for a lid. They dry well and I now have enough for stuffing/dressing. I have some boneless chicken breasts I plan on having along with them. Planning to make it my own ya know! with my own version of seasoning, gonna use Montreal Chicken Seasoning, Thanks for the tips!

Your stuffing is really strange with all those massive chunks of bread in it. It should be made with breadcrumbs.
