I really want to make gnocchi, but I know it would take forever for me to make it.

I discovered you today while searching for more channels for healthy eating. Everything I've seen so far, I want to make. My goodness it looks easy and delicious! I'm definitely buying the book. Whoever was your photographer for the food photos in it … did an amazing mouthwatering job! Can hardly wait to try all these recipes. The fish with lemon butter sauce and asparagus made me drool. I'm definitely cooking that dish!

Will the sauce for the fish keep in the fridge for a couple days? (I want to cook up the fish fresh every day but if the sauce will keep, I’d rather only make it once)

I just made the gnocchi recipe tonight for dinner — I know it’s a Saturday and not a weeknight, but I don’t want to be in the kitchen for a long time on any night!

I’m happy to report that it turned out very well. It was quick, filling, very savory and I’d make it, again.

For my version, I left out the shallots and used a little more garlic. Instead of basil, I used rosemary because that’s what I had. It gave the gnocchi a lovely taste and an incredible perfume. Lastly, I pan-fried the gnocchi in half olive oil and half butter, just because I like butter and it gave the gnocchi a nice richness.

A nice tip for remove the flour excess from the fish is to dip quickly in a pot full of water…..all the excess stays at the water and not burned in the pan

I have been binge watching your videos, they make me want to actually do more than apply heat to groceries! Would you consider doing a video about what types of pots/pans/utensils you think are essential and how/when to use them? I never know if I should use non-stick, cast iron, enameled cast iron…pot or skillet…ya know?

I always get the starch off the gnocchi by rinsing it well before frying. It works!

Love, love, LOVE all three of these recipes! So easy and simple for mid-week cooking, with flavours that I love. Will definitely be trying all of them out, and soon! Maybe I'll actually be cooking more at home during the week instead of picking up take-out…
